Detailed Itinerary

Days 1 : Arrival Delhi
Arrive in Delhi- Afternoon sightseeing of Delhi, including Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar and Red Fort. Over night at hotel.

Days 2 : Delhi - Srinagar (By Flight)
Depart DelhiBy Flight for Srinagar. Reception and assistance on arrival and transfer to houseboats. After lunch on houseboats, enjoy Shikhara ride on Dal Lake and visit to floating/ vegetable gardens, Nehru Place, Char Chinar etc. Dinner and Over night stay at Houseboat.

Days 3 : Srinagar
After early breakfast Leave by car to see the famous Mughal Gardens, Shalimar Gardens and the Cheshma Shahi (The Royal Spring) built by Shah Jahan in 1636 AD, Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) laid out by JahanGir for his beloved Noor Jahan in 1632 AD. Round off the trip with a visit to the Oriental Kashmir Carpet factory.
Lunch at houseboats
After lunch and a brief rest, Leave by car for half Days sightseeing of Srinagar City visiting the Hari Parbat Fort, Jama Masjid (the Great Mosque built in 1313 AD) the old bazaar on the banks of the Jhelum and the Shah Hamdan Shrine.
Dinner and Over night stay on Houseboats.

Days 4 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
After breakfast Leave by car for full Days trip to Gulmarg (The Meadow of Flowers) at 2730 meters above sea level and which is one of the best ski slopes in the world.Gulmarg is also home to one of the highest 18 hole golf courses in the world and offers a splendid view of the Nanga Parbat Peak (the fifth highest mountain of the world) There is also a option for a short trip upto Khilanmarg by the Gandola cable car. Lunch (carried from houseboats) atGulmarg.
Over night stay and dinner at houseboats.

Days 5 : Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
Morning drive to Pahalgam (the valley of sheperds), en route, visiting safforn fields and Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple oflord Vishnu built by king Awantivarman, enjoy the beautiful countryside on the way. Drive through the pine forest, on arrival in Pahalgam walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of Monutains, evening drive to Srinagar. Stay Over night at Srinagar.
Over night at Houseboat.

Days-06, Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar
After early breakfast depart to Sonamarg with pack lunch. At 2740 Mts. 95 kms. from Srinagar is the last major town before Ladakh and an excellent base for trekking. Also known as "Meadow of Gold" which coul drive from the spring flowers or from strategic trading position it enjoys. Sonamarg has a wild mountain beauty. Evening return back to the hotel. Dinner and Over night stay at Houseboat.

Days-07 Depart tO Delhi
Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Delhi. Depart Delhi for next destination.
